Little toe Dreams...

a sliver of sunset
and a slice of solstice
the army wouldn't take me
so I joined the bubble stew.
(just add a couple of carrots
and tell me when it's done)

the stars buzz as they catch
in the musical loom above us-
over the bridge
under the stars
we all hold our breath.

Orion watches over
and the Cheshire cat smiles
as prowlers peep thru
palm fronds
siam tiger black&white
each purposeful and purring
